The Fleetwood

Creating a Niche in a Challenging Market.

One of the new kids on the block in San Diego’s Gaslamp District, The Fleetwood restaurant and lounge needed to create a niche for itself in a competitive market. M80 Media worked with them from the ground up, developing an image for The Fleetwood as the dress-up-or-dress-down place that fills a gap in the neighborhood. We designed its marketing materials and website, modeling the site to reflect the look and feel of the restaurant. Enticing photography of the décor and food, which was also done by M80, creates a sense of The Fleetwood’s downtown ambiance for website visitors—they feel as though they are relaxing on the leather seats in the modern lounge, enjoying a glass of wine at the bar, or sitting down to a beautifully presented meal. We carried these themes into print ads in upscale urban publications such as San Diego Magazine and 944.
